Pony Rides

Experience everything.
Take care of yourself and your friends.
Have fun, be crazy, be weird.
Go out and screw up!
You're going to anyway,
so you might as well enjoy the process.
Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes:
find the cause of your problem and eliminate it.
Don't try to be perfect;
just be an excellent example of being human.”
Anthony Robbins

Can you tell how much the kids have grown since last year?
It's CRAZY, I tell you!
All of my pictures from Saturday turned out a little horribly.
Now that I know I was DRUNK all day,
I realize that could have been the problem... or not.

I like that quote about enjoying yourself and screwing up....so often we are afraid to do something because we might fail...and then we never know if we can do it or not...and sadly we teach our children that.

Happy Wednesday!!

Kids are getting BIG! And at least you have an excuse for your pictures not being up to you par, I on the other hand thought they looked great! Maybe I was drinking the Crystal Light!

They are so brave. I have never been on a horse. I've always been afraid that they would bite me. I've got to get over that!

That looks like so much fun! My kids would be jealous if they saw your blog today. I guess living in the country, horseback riding is something we should do. My uncle has horses just down the hill from here and I'm sure he'd let us ride them. But I'm allergic!

You know, you just need to lay off that liquor a bit sweetie ;)

Hmm.... let me see Branch? I is fun trying to identify the location of your pics! Tara loves riding. I think her first pony ride was at Freddy Hill, and at a Spring Festival at Branch. I love looking back at those pictures, most are not digital!

Okay, I have decided that there has to be some way for us to meet in real life! I think it is so funny you were thinking of me in the carpool line because I have found myself thinking about you and your lovely family at random times during the day too. So, if you are ever in Oklahoma or at least in one of the adjoining states, we MUST get together. On a related note: we have lots of horses and ponies here in Oklahoma (hint, hint) : )

Haha - my verification word is osepsi...I think it's telling me I need a Pepsi : )

Have you sobered up? HA! You have such a fun life. Your son is truly blessed to have you as a mom. (I'm not talking about that little incident Saturday either.)

Thanks for visiting my blog. I thought I would wander over and see yours and I'm glad I did.

The kids are so cute and they look like they are having a ball.

No comment on the Grand Marnier except to say I sure would appreciate a bottle as a gift. I can't afford it. It would last me for a year, though, and not just a weekend. ;-)

There's something so special about pony rides as a child. Love these photos!
