J is for -

John Travolta & his family.
I have been praying for his family
since their son died.
Such a tragedy.
This is my brother Johnny and his wife Joanna.
2 J's are better than one.
I won't mention the baby since her name is J free. My Daddy, John and my Mommy, Jandy.
I mean Sandy : )
And last of all....
A scooter John.
So why do they call toliets John's anyway?
I always wondered.

ABC Wednesday and Wordful Wednesday

are tons of fun!

Check 'em out : ).

Make some new friends.

Wasn't the guy that came up with the concept....John or something? I always think it was crapper....but, hey, what do I know.

Awesome photos.

My Wordful this week is all about the birds and bees...errrr, um....maybe birds and cats. Is it Superman in the sky? Come find out.

You're so funny with the John. But the Travolta story is definitely heartbreaking. And Natasha Richardson and so many.......I actually find myself praying not to be a victim of a tragedy like that. I am not talking about losing people to death in a natural sorta way, but these tragedies that really make you question why.

That was a Jolly good read;)

Y'know what is weird? I had a dream about John Travolta last night..then I woke up thinking about his son etc. and now your post. Strange!

Adorable post! Your parents are precious! And that baby is precious too!

I love "J" names - my pastor and his wife have 4 children with J names. My son has a J name, but my daughter is an S (although we considered the name "Julia".)

I have also been thinking about, and praying for, John Travolta and Kelly Preston (and their daughter) and wondering how they are doing.... now that the "newness" of their grief has worn off. It is a horrible tragedy. I am so terribly sorry for them. I can only hope that this tragic event draws them close to God.

You have an awesome looking family...those great smiles are definitely genetic! LOL! Now, the scooter John has left me completely speechless. Had to have been invented by a MAN!

What a fun post! Really enjoyed it and the happy looking pictures of your family! Just lovely! John Travolta's tragic loss is a reminder to hug our kids every day and to be thankful for everyday that we have them. On a lighter note,I've often wondered about the "john", too! I suspect a whole bunch of us are headed to google to see what we can find. Isn't funny how one statement out of the blue (and a picture) can send you looking for answers and wondering why you didn't ask before??? Thanks for sharing!

I am so saddened by the John Travolta thing. My friend was on vacation in Arizona and the Travoltas are staying at this house in the neighborhood she was in. She said black sheets were on the windows...what a sad, sad way to live life and deal with struggles...while everyone is waiting to SNAP another picture...great post!

That scooter John is hilarious! I think we all feel for John Travolta and his family. How mean the press can be! Your sets of family Js are a welcome glimpse into your greater family.

But then I like to think that all of us bloggers are your greater family - one that you stay in touch with through not only your own blog but in the thoughtful and loving comments that you leave on our posts.

Love all the J's...you're always so creative. I think the term "john" might refer to the guy who originally invented the toilet. Not sure, but that's what I think I remember hearing.

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!!

John Travolta is one of my favorite actors; ironically, I just read a magazine article about his son yesterday--a tragedy indeed.

Lots of good names begin with J, including my youngest grandson!

Such great pictures! And by the way I used to hate Crocs too. I thought they were awful! But both boys love them and wear them all the time. They are great for the summer but watch out for that little boy sweaty feet smell..NaStY!
