the Wizard of Oz

Kaish and I went on a fun adventure last night.
We went to see The Wizard of Oz.

(L. Frank Baun version)

It was so good!

I think it was the best play I ever saw.

And believe me, I have seen some great plays.

BBC's drama department was fantastic.

If you live near here at all,

Try to go next weekend.

You will not be disappointed!

Have you ever been in a play?

Do tell!

Kaish on the set. Isn't he the cutest?

What a fun night!!

I was in our middle school production of The Wizard of Oz. I was a jitterbug-a forest creature that waylays the gang on the way to the Emerald City and keeps them dancing.

I was SOOOO bad. They put me in the very back corner of the stage to try to hide me. And thus ended my dreams of becoming a star.....

JLo will be so jealous when she reads this. She loves the Wizard of Oz more than life itself.

And yeah, Kaishon is the cutest!

I love plays...always have! My favorite one was "Cats" and I saw it with my mom. We got to sit on the very front row and were completely mesmerized!

That's fantastic! I think it's so wonderful for kids to see live performances. And especially if they get to go on set, like Kaish, and see how it feels to be on stage.

My daughter would love to see this show. She owns the movie DVD, but would like to see the actual play. Too bad we're too far away from PA. :(

And may I just say that you have a very handsome boy!
