Blogging Friends

Blogging friends are the best kind.

They encourage and uplift.

They make you laugh SO hard you think you might pee your pants...

They make you think.

Erica

They make you smile.

They allow you to imagine and create and make the world a brighter and more beautiful place.

One of my very favorite blogging friends is Jason of the Jason Show.

Now, some of my friends, well, actually almost all of my real life blogging friends, are christians.

Devout Christians.

Jason might scare some of them.

When I first found Jason's blog, I was a little scared too.

So scared, I tried not to go look at his blog.

You see, for so long (my whole life really) I put God in a box.

I had to wear the right kind of clothes, go to the right kind of services at church, memorize the right kind of Bible verses (KJV) so God would love me.
I have learned that God does not live in a box.

He does not just live "up in Heaven."

God lives in me.

He loves me.

He died for me!

For my sins!

God loves Jason of the Jason Show even though he is an Agnostic.

God does not want Christians to judge.

He wants us to show love.

Jason showed some love to me this week. He gave me this lovely award. I would like to pass it on to three great bloggers I have just recently met:

Go make some new friends today. Step out of your comfort box a little!

funny and sweet - totally makes me want to get out there and meet some more "unlikely" friends!

BTW, I saw on your profile that one of your fav books is If You Give a MOuse a Cookie. I just did my daughter's bd party with that book as the theme, and it was a lot of fun. Check out my blog for pics!

Thanks as always for the entertaining photos and stories and quotes!

Your post was beautiful.
When Jason and I were growing up, he always had a gaggle of girlfriends. He would arrange the party and we would all gather. Seems the same now..... :) You deserve this award!
