Ta Da

I have never been one of those Moms that had to have a perfect tree. I like it to look gloriously imperfect. Someday when Kaish is grown and away at college it might be perfect. Maybe.
Naji and Sabria were hired as our decorator help this weekend and they totally rocked it.
Who decorated your tree : )? Is it one of your favorite nights of the year?
P.S. YES our tree is tipping. Gary says he can't notice it. Hmmmmmmmmm. Last year he set it up and it was tipping. He couldn't notice it then either. It started falling over during a party. (A party Gary was not at because he was working.) Gary claims it never happened..... What am I going to do with him? Keep loving him? I suppose : ).

Rebeckah,

Your tree looks great! I've decided to let my tree just lean - it gives it character, right?!

Well, you've been tagged - can't wait to find out 6 random things about you.

Also, I just posted a few Christmas Party pics.

Have a great day!

Your tree is beautiful. The family trees are always the best. The fancy smancy coordinated trees are pretty, but they don't mean as much.
Last year I bought a fake tree (gasp!)because I hated dealing with the real one and the mess. It doesn't tip, but it doesn't smell like Christmas either.
No tree this year for me as I leave for my mom's at the end of the week.

I love the tree. It does lean, but that gives it character. Maybe Gary doesn't see the leaning because his head is tilted?
Don't tell him I said that.

Love your tree, Rebeckah! Like you, I don't strive for a perfect tree...at least, not now. I like it to reflect the our family is...perfectly imperfect! :) Great pictures of a great and loving family!

I LOVE IT!!! Umm you have to work on the man getting the tree straight, falling trees can e a real bummer. It looks great! That's what is so cool about each tree. they are like us, all unique, all different and not one is like another. I love them.
what's the word on the little dog?

That's a pretty perfect looking tree to me! Seriously, I can almost smell it!

Thanks for praying for me. I think I could actually feel it! So far the light box is working well and I've been productive, and not so tired and irritable....that's really saying something! I do crave terrible food, though...but maybe that's just because I like cheeseburgers a LOT.

I read your blog pretty much every day now. I have a "blog reader" that puts all the blogs I read in a list and highlights the ones that have been updated. I don't always commment, but I do try to follow the stories....

I'm hoping you say YES to the wiener dog!

ok so you seriously win for the largest tree!! That thing is huge, no wonder it is tipping!! I think it looked great!! I love decorating the tree. I had a little helper this year and look forward to that help every year. Josh does all the set up and I am in charge of the decorating.

Oh what beautiful smiling faces. You have started a wonderful tradition for your family to fallow. I am in a new faze big a grandma. And moving far away from our home. I did a post on my tree this year. And This will be the first Christmas in this house that all the kids and grandkids will be here. I hope it is a start of a new tradition for use to all be together again.

Girl, please...your tree looks great! I wish that I was more like you though...you probably get way more done than me, as I keep struggling with making things perfect. I know....it's ridiculous!

I love ALL the pictures! They're great!

I love those smiles...priceless. Your tree is perfect just as ours is because my little people helped decorate most of it. Some branches have 3 or 4 ornaments on them but I wouldn't change it for anything! Our decorations are all personal ornaments that we have all gotten or made over the years. I love it this way!

Husbands...what are we going to do with them. My husband only sees what he wants to see. I was wondering who the two children in the photos were...neighbors?

Have a great holiday!

Funny how husbands can't ever "notice" things that involve extra work for them. LOL☺ The tree looks great!! I love decorating my tree, so I do most of it, but Isaiah is getting old enough that he wants to help...so I let him and it doesn't matter where he hangs ornaments or what he hangs. (I used to really care, everything had to be exact...but I'm over that)

Hope you're having a great Monday morning!

Beautiful! I thought it was leaning but I thought it'd be rude to tell you that. I'm glad you know! :)

Your man is too funny. Mine would do the same thing. We decorated our own tree with the kids. I'm sure someday I'll enjoy it but right now its like decorating with a heard of octopuses.
