Monday Laughs!

A definition of Christmas:The time when everyone gets "Santa"-mental.

What’s red, white and blue at Christmas time? A sad candy cane!
How do Chihuahua's say Merry Christmas? Fleas Navidog!

What's the best thing to put into Christmas dinner? Your teeth!

What do angry mice send to each other in December? Cross mouse cards!

A Politically Correct Holiday Greeting

Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially
responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral, winter
solstice holiday, practiced within the most joyous traditions of
the religious persuasion of your choice , but with respect for
the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their
own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a
religion at all; plus... A fiscally successful, personally
fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the
generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect
for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions
have helped make our society great, without regard to the race,
creed color, religious, or sexual preferences of the wishes.

Disclaimer: This greeting is subject to clarification or with-
drawal. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement
any of the wishes for her/himself or others and no responsibility
for any unintended emotional stress these greetings may bring to
those not caught up in the holiday spirit.

I say Merry Christmas because that's what I celebrate. I have jewish friends who wish me "Happy Hannukah" and it doesn't bother or offend me because it's what they're celebrating and I understand the sentiment behind the words.

Maybe I'm too idealistic, but it works for me.

Thanks for the laughs! I was in the grocery store the other day and the cashier was wearing a button that said: It's okay, you can wish me a Merry Christmas! I loved it! Merry Christmas!

It's Merry Christmas because Jesus is the reason for the season.

The PC people don't have a problem getting the day off with pay do they?

The kids are adorable as usual!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, BABY!!! I wished everyone I encountered today a Merry Christmas, and the greeting was reciprocated 100% of the time:)

However, it would not have offended me if someone had wished me Happy Hannukah, Feliz Navidad or whatever else suited them. I don't believe that most people are offended by my greeting either:) Isn't America a wonderful place to live???

I say Merry Christmas but with all this Happy Holiday talk, I've caught myself saying Happy Holidays. Josh and I learned though when you say Happy Holidays, Holiday is for Holy days, so really you are saying Happy Holy days!
