Link Lovin'

These women are doing a great fundraiser for 2 children with cancer. They are having a raffle and the prizes are amazing! AMAZING. Coach purse. Gucci sunglasses. Designer cards from Pumpkin Delight! Can you go give a little donation? They take paypal. You have the chance of winning something GREAT and you are making the difference in a life of a kid. I don't know why you wouldn't. : ) Please do : ). You don't even need a blog to enter.

Our church is having this AWESOME and FREE event for families next weekend. If you live near me (I think my only readers that live near me are my sister and my Mom, so I guess this is just for them : ) please come to this event and bring your families!
Free sleigh rides. Free petting zoo. Live nativity. LOVE. Christmas music.
What's not to love? It is from 6-9 on Friday and Saturday.
Your kids will love it. Come : ).

Heather lost her job a few weeks ago.
She is so discouraged. Can you go give her some positive thoughts?
I think it would really cheer her up.

I have adobe photoshop and it kind of annoys me!
My super GREAT friend Katie is dying to have photoshop.
I found this site a few weeks ago and I LOVE it : ).
It is so quick and easy.
Go check it out : ).

This lovely lady made me a box of cards recently.
I commented on her blog one day about LOVING her cards and she sent me a whole box.
They are so impressive! You wouldn't believe the detail.
My Mom wants a box for Christmas.
This woman lives in Atlanta.
I wonder if she is like the...

I seriously loved this show.
It blew my mind!
Fascinating stuff : )
Anderson Cooper likes it too, so that makes me feel a little better.
Gary thinks it is the stupidest thing he has ever seen.
Did anyone else love this?
(no link to send you to)
He is doing better each week.
Very discouraged still.
Eating on his own.
Rolling his wheel chair with the side that works; the left one.
Wants to go home from the hospital desperately.
Please keep praying.

I love all your pictures! I wish I lived near you because that event at your church sounds wonderful. I would be there with bells on.

Thank you for reminding people about Marey and Postcard Cindy's fundraiser/raffle to help two families while their child goes through bone marrow transplant. I am offering an additional dollar for everyone that donates and mentions my blog.
Times are tough, and I pray for your friend who is out of work...and go leave her a message of support.
Yeah for Quince, baby steps are good!

(I loved the Housewives, too...)
Real purses-
how to tell-
1. where you buy them
2. no mention of "china' anywhere
3. how much you pay
4. many come with certificates of authenticity
5. the feel of the leather-plastic is not the right feel...
That's my guide-do you know another way? Please let me know-I don't want to pay a lot for a fake!!! LOL

What a fun time. The photos are great. You can move them areound by right click on the pic pick copy then paste where u want it. then go back and click on old pic right click and cut or delete in your blog editor. or copy and paste html in edit html section. It is easy once you get the hang. I am so glad Quince is doing better.

My sweet, blog friend! Thank you for including me and myu blog on your links! I wish I could go to the celebration at your church!!!

These are hard times indeed, but it helps so much to know there are friends like you who will pray for me and help keep my spirits up despite the crummy circumstances.

I'm entering week 10 of hard to believe! I never thought I would be out of work this long, but it seems as if I lost my job in a "perfect storm" of the bad economy and the weakest job market since 1969.....or so I read last week.

Thank God I'm still able to make my meager savings stretch through the month of me time to think creatively about what's in store for January and following.....I'm imagining a job!!!!

Thank you for being such a wonderful friend.

Wow - lots of stuff going on.

I have been thinking of Quince often and hope he continues to improve. I'm sure it is difficult for him, but he will come out stronger than ever. As they say, God doesn't take you to something he won't get you through.

That is the same advice I'd give to your friend who lost her job. She'll make it through a stronger, better person....and even likely with a better job than her old one.

Love all your adorable pics! Our church has done something very similar to yours for the past several years called "Christmas on the Square". It's a community outreach event whereby they give out free hot cocoa and there's crafts, a live nativity, and a choral production, which is wonderful! It's a lot of fun!

Thanks for all the great links! I wasn't a big fan of "Real Housewives of Atlanta", but I love "Real Housewives of Orange County". Have you seen it?

I'll continue to say a prayer for Quince. Enjoy your Monday!

Please send your friend to my blog about "Blessing after Change" - in it I talked about Kenyon losing his job and that it was a real turning point in his life (a positive one!). I hope it encourages her.
I am glad to hear that Quince is doing better and I hope he continues to get therapy! He will progress although it will seem so slow.
OH! AND I LOVE REAL HOUSEWIVES - Atlanta, Orange County, New York (although NY is my least favorite) - but they are all great!
