Parades Schmarades

(Just for Jen or forcedtoegister...)

Sienna and Mila were in the Harleysville Parade with their Girl Scout Troop on Saturday! They were spiders. Jen does not know what the theme of their float was : ) but she does know that they won a prize for being the best. Nice!

Jen and Dan had to drop the girls off at 9:00. The parade started at 11:00. It was FREEZING cold : ). Guess how long the parade was...really, guess.

10 minutes. Do you believe that?

We had fun anyway. It was a cold but yet oh-so-exciting start to our weekend.

Does your town have a Halloween or Thanksgiving Parade? Do you go?
Quince Update: He is definitely getting moved to a rehab facility this week! Please keep praying! THANK YOU~!

Happy Monday Rebeckah!
Looks like it was a cute "little" parade. It reminded me of the parade they had when I live in a small town-They were small but we loved them and though they were small they still gave out loads of candy to the kids. I miss this about small towns! Great photos by the way!
Have a blessed week,
Robin~♥

How adorable they look. I love seeing Kaishon's animated face, he's so adorable. And that little girl on the steps is cute.
We don't have a parade for Halloween. When we do have parades they usually have a military theme being that we are near Ft. Hood.
I love seeing the Marines Toys for Tots truck. What a good job they do.

Looks like a fun time although I suppose the pictures you took were of the WHOLE parade??
We have July 4th, St. Patty's day and a Christmas celebration parade with all the lighting of the trees downtown. Oh, and it is NEVER cold. :)

How fun! Crack me up that it only lasted 10 minutes! Our small little town with only a gas station is actually having a Halloween festival this weekend at the GAS station! I'll be sure to take pictures!

Didn't parades used to be so much more fun? I dunno...they're just boring now. LOL

Crocs - I don't get the draw, myself, but my kids love them because they're easy to put on and take off.

Thanks for your kind words on my blog.

That's my kind of parade. I get bored easily.

We have one in December where kids bring kids to donate to other kids who don't have much. I've never been though.

I lovwe these types of things. Our town, which we love so much, has awesome things going on all the time. It's a great opportunity to meet people and just feel connected to our community.
