Nice Things that Churches Do:

We have a lot of really great churches in our area. To me a 'great church" is a curch that CARES about the community and is committed to bringing JESUS love and light to people.

This Church had a neighborhood block party last Sunday. Kaishon had a GREAT time. I was very encouraged because they had a group of people in a booth that were taking prayer requests and praying for things right there on the spot. 5 people prayed for Quince.

I know a miracle can happen for Quince. He is going to be moved to a rehab facility soon because the hospital can no longer help him. He has a fever right now so the Dr's aren't sure when the exact move date will be. Thank you for continuing to pray for Quince and his family. I know his wife and children are all still scared. At times this seems hopeless but because I am a Christian, I do believe that God has a purpose for this very unbelieveable challenge.

Thank you for praying! God bless you this weekend!

I love the pictures and am glad to hear Quince has even more prayers coming to him. You are right, God has a plan. I hope it works in the favor of Quince and his family.
Take care,

Thanks for commenting on my blog. It's always nice to have a new reader. Grandma J and Cortney are great people (Cortney and I go to the same church and work with our youth group together). You son is adorable!

Sounds like a great church, I'm praying for Quincy. I know how much you care, Prayer does work. It is hard though when God says yes, no or not yet. He is faithful and has a plan. I'm glad K had fun at the fall festival. Sounds like a great church.

I love hearing about great churches. I am completely in love with churches that work with communities and provide positive alternatives to people. You are so completely blessed to know these churches!

Still praying for Quince.

ps. It was blessing to hear some of the songs on the music player on your blog. Thank you for putting them on there.

Oh, that looks like such a fun day! We are supposed to do something similar tomorrow at a local church. :)

A rehab facility is the perfect thing for Quince. Once he can get some physical and occupational therapy, he will start to make bigger strides. The sooner he can start therapy, the better. That is definitely the right move!!

I'm praying, as always. And, yes, it is very hard to understand God's plan in all of this, isn't it? I figure that, if not in this life, someday it will all become clear for us.

Wow that is a great church and I agree, Great churches love their community! I love the prayer booth idea too!! I just sent Quinces card today. I thought Josh had sent it out this week with the mail, but instead it got covered over with mail. We are still praying.

Beautiful pics.

To answer your question on my blog... a friend gave me Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook and I've only tried a couple recipes so far. Sometimes I don't have the veggies on hand to make the recipe. Do want to try more, though! :)
