cooking or something like it: an easy appetizer

This simple appetizer was a hit at two events I went to last week.
Doesn't that sound glamorous? Events! Those ever-so-glamorous events were our Bible study and the neighborhood Halloween Party for grownups. (Nothing too glamorous)
I thought I would share it since I did take pictures and it was Yummy : ). I combined 2 recipes from one of my most favorite blogs live.love.eat.
Are the picture explanatory?
I was going to give step by step directions with the pictures, but I am not a good picture loader, and after 3 tries, I have to give up on them coming out in order : )!
Here are my quick and simple instructions:
Cut the crust off bread
Toast it in the oven
Make some tuna (I use dressing because I don't like mayonaise, but normal people would probably use mayonaise : )!
Throw in some dill. (It's just Yum-O)
Throw some cheese on your toast and toast it again for a few minutes.
Throw some tuna on each toast
Throw some tomato pieces on each little bite.
Shove them in your mouth : ) Or take them to your glamorous event.
The End!
Oh, I like this cooking blog too, I just found it, and I think it is nice and simple! My brilliant friend Danielle and her Mom do it I think. Go check it out if you want some meal ideas!
What is your favorite appetizer to take to parties? Come on, give it up!

Yum! I love it all. I make something similar with bacon instead of tuna. Now I have a new version to try.

Thank you...and make sure Kaishon stops over to enter my "name the bear" contest.

Hi Rebeckah,

That does look good!!! I love finger type foods like this.

About the book. I am closer to 50 than 40 and I have NEVER read any kind of vampire book. It has stuff about it that we have all heard but it is more the meeting and getting together of a "vampire" family living amongst humans and the girl that is falling madly in love with Edward (I'm sure you have heard that name). It truly was a GREAT read and I am excited to get the next in the series.
