The Strike is OVER!

We just got word that school is starting tomorrow. Sienna and Mila screamed with glee.
Kaishon cried. Please pray for a good year for Kaish. He has such a hard time with school. It's heartbreakng. I am hopeful that this year will be better than last. VERY hopeful!
Third grade here we come!

I love the pics....but just what are they doing to the Indian. Do they know what WE ALREADY put the native americans through?????
:)
The kids are cute...so glad they can get back to school where they belong.
I will ad Kaish to my prayer list. 3rd grade is a big one. This could be the turning point for him, in a GOOD way of course.

I'm glad the strike is over and I'll be praying for Kaishon to do great in school this year and decide he really does like it.

Thanks so much for you encouraging comments on my blog, they really do mean a lot to me.

Your teachers were on strike? Here in NY state you can't strike, it's against the law. I was going to say that you shouldn't hesitate to ask the teacher or school for extra help if your son needs it. Most good teachers are more than willing to help...

I do want to thank you for visiting my blogs and for the comments you always leave me.

I do hope all goes well this year for all the children. Kaishon will make it I am sure of that. I remember having a hard time in school memorizing the alphabet and cried about it because I just couldn't get past m and n. Somebody told me to imagine it was song and to say the letters like a song and I did and that solved my memory problem.

But, I still failed the third grade. Not that my grades were so bad, but because my mother moved 5 times that school year and dragged me along with her. And it began at Gordon school and ended there.
