nine dollars and a hundred and five cents

We are looking for a new lemonade maker for the next stand. This one just couldn't get into it. No matter how many customers we brought in...
Look at this enthusiasm....It was staged for the camera I assure you!
Making the signs for the stand and planning our strategy!
Sofia's scribbles.
Clearly we need schooling. Plese Bey Lemonade... That's all I'm sayin'
Mila praying for customers.
Sienna with her FAB sign
Our very first customer. Any lady that wears a puppy shirt has to be sweet.
The poor mailman didn't really have a chance. How can you say no to three adorable children? He couldn't : )
We thought putting Sofia out there on the sidewalk might bring in a sympathy sale or two. How cute is that baby? LOVE her!

Guess what we did since the teachers in the Souderton School District are on strike and we can't go to school? That's right! A lemonade stand!

The kids had a fun time...while we were inside making the signs. After that it got a little iffy. It was 90 degrees. Sienna was brilliant at yelling at cars going by! She said the cutest things like, "Get your LEMONADE quick because there are only 2 glasses left!" or "It's ICE COLD, Folks! That's right! Ice Cold!" How does she think of that? So cute : )!
Even though Jen laughed at us initially, she wasn't laughing when we counted our loot. Nine dollars and one hundred and five cents. That is NOTHING to laugh about. Right?

When life hands you lemons; Make Lemonade : )!

Hadn't heard about the teacher strike! I hope things get back to normal there soon, but in the meantime, a few more days of summer are never *really* a bad thing!

Did you have a good holiday weekend? I wanted to try and find you on facebook, but I realized I only know your first name, lol!

Cute and adorable kids selling ICE COLD lemonade--who could resist.
Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog.
I live in Canada and we don't have a Ross store here.
Thanks anyway for the hint.
Maybe some of my readers from the US will be able to use your handy shopping tip.

If that Sofia were selling someone else's dirty laundry, I'd sign up for an entire truckload full, please. I'll pay her whatever she wants.

That girl is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

Wonderful pics of some very cute kiddies! We're in the midst of a heat wave. They don't take mail orders, do they?

Hey there - thanks for coming by my blog! I appreciate your comments!

Your little Sofia is adorable! I would definitely by lemonade from such a sweet little angel!

I hate to hear about the strike.... I hope it is resolved quickly. My husband is a Teamster (UPS man) and they went on strike when I was 8 months pregnant. (Talk about heartburn!)

Take care and hope y'all aren't getting hammered by rain from the storm today!

This is so sweet. I wish I was closer, I would have bought a whole pitcher. I remember doing this as a kid.
Where we live now, you have to get a PERMIT to sell lemonade. (or anything) A little girl was cited a few years back for not getting a permit. It made the national news and it made me a bit angry.

Oh, it does NOT get any cuter than that!!! I love it!

Somehow the subject of lemonade stands came up this past weekend, and my husband reminded me how I can never pass one up. I said, "How can ANYONE?!" My heart always aches for those kids standing out there just waiting for business!

These picture captions were cracking me up! And I think the only reason you sold so much lemonade is because the lemonade maker must've stuck her pinky in to sweeten it. hahahaha!
