Creeped out at the Pool!

Yesterday, at the pool, I got creeped out by a man sitting near us. He was asking a lot of questions about the kids. Not normal questions because they are black and I am white, but really creepy questions. I came home and looked up our neighborhood sex offenders. So scary. He wasn't listed in our neighborhood, thank goodness. Hopefully I won't see him again. Go check out your neighborhood. Better safe than sorry!

Your intuition never lies. Good for you for checking him out. That is a worth while link, all parents should be aware of who lives in their neighborhood. Just because he isn't registered doesn't mean he is "ok".

Do you know why he was at the pool? You should answer his questions with one of your own.

You are a good mom Rebeckah!

How creepy. Thankfully the person doesn't live near you. Thanks for posting that website. I just moved a few months ago to a new town. Thankfully there are only a few red dots near me but they aren't real close but it's nice to know what to watch for.

They are so cute!! She is beautiful.

You and heartshapedhedges have a lot in common. She's a social worker too. She no longer works for a gov. agency. She has also worked within the juvenile justice system and with at risk children. I'm sure she will correct me if I'm wrong!

Don't let them pile that work too gov, there will always be an endless trail of paper.

YIKES! It pulled up 327 Sex Offenders in our zip code! I knew there were a bunch, that's why I don't allow my kids to go out in the front yard alone (and Tim thinks I'm too strict!)
