One of my best friends ever...

I have this amazing friend named David Anthony. I met him at a very difficult time in my life. He makes me laugh. He makes me think. He always makes me smile! David has a beautiful wife, Tina. I think they are the most perfect couple. They came to visit.
Naji, Sabria and Kaish were crazy about them. The kids wanted them to sleep over. (That is how much they LOVED them!) I am so thankful to have a friend like David. David and Tina made our Christmas break spectacular. Thank you for coming ALL THE WAY to our house!
Thank you for loving our REAL Chirstmas tree! Thank you for wrestling with the children. Thank you most of all for the wedding gift. (You know that was the most important thing and really the only reason I even invited you over....) Come again....With ANOTHER present of course.

Words aren't even needed...Sabria and Naji spent Christmas break with us....life is GRAND!

Naji the GREAT!

I don't have words to describe how much I love Naji! Since the day his mother called me and had me take him home from the hospital with her, I've been in love. He was such a darling baby. Melanie was so overwhelmed with Sabria and Naji when they were young. Naji always makes us laugh. He is sweet and good natured and he has EVEN MORE energy than Kaishon. I love him. Kaishon loves the kids too. He was devestated when it was time for everyone to go back home. I would like them to live with us forever. I don't think Gary feels the same way.... Gary just came over and typed "that's right" into the computer. The children are so wonderful! They truly made our Christmas special. I am so glad Naji and Sabria are in this world! They are two of the lovliest children alive!

we love us some sabria!

Sabria Amirah Moore we love you.

You fill our lives and our home with joy beyond description. Thank you for spending part of your Christmas break at our house. I like to pretend you are my own little girl.

Whenever Kaishon talks about the future he always says, "When I grow up and marry Sabria..." It makes me laugh. You truly are a delight.

gary's mom and dad

Gary's Mom died on January 8. He misses her so much. I wish I could have met her. Gary's Dad is very nice. We don't get to spend a lot of time together. Gary goes to see him every day after work. Recently Gary had the flu and his Dad was very caring and protective. I love Gary's Dad because he loves Gary so much. Gary had a great Mom and he has a great Dad. I am thankful for the parents God gave Gary. I hope we can do a great job like our parents did for us.

my mom and dad

My parents are so wonderful. They gave our family so many nice presents! Kaishon LOVES the bike they got him. We love all of the gift cards. I really love my snuggly slipper socks. Thank you for being the absolute most amazing parents in the universe!

birds!

Kaishon's Sunday School Teachers, Mr. & Mrs. Faber (Or Mr. and Mrs. Fiber as Kaish likes to call them...), were talking about animals last Sunday in Sunday school. My little Kaishon told them he loves all animals. Mrs. Faber asked Kaishon if he had a puppy or a kitty or a hampster. Kaishon told them his hamster had died. Mrs. Faber said "Well, maybe someday you will get another one" to which Kaishon responded, "I don't want another hampster, what I really want is a girl bird and a boy bird"..... Well, wouldn't you know, Mr. and Mrs. Faber just so happened to have a boy lovebird and a girl lovebird that they were trying to get rid of. So, we are now the happy (disgruntled) owners of two lovely lovebirds!
